Ramblers Online Training Library

You can access any training courses that are relevant to your volunteering role in the Ramblers online training library, and some of these will be mandatory to your volunteering role.  You’ll need to set up a My Ramblers Account to access training.

You will also need to be added to the Ramblers system as a volunteer so you are able to access the online training. Please request this from our Chairperson

If you are new to leading walks with C&B, there are two mandatory online walk leadership modules for you to complete:

Walk Leadership Foundations  Listen to experienced walk leaders about what makes a great walk and get tips on how to plan and map your route.  See the Youtube Walk Leadership Foundations introductory guide.

Preventing and Managing Incidents  Here you will find out how to minimise the risk of an incident when you’re leading a walk. See the Youtube Preventing and Managing Incidents introductory guide.

These modules would be beneficial for existing walk leaders but are not mandatory.

There are also general volunteer training modules in the training library:

. Volunteer Welcome

. Safeguarding Module One
