To mark our 40th aniversary, the group organised a 2 day walking event of the 21 mile Chelmsford Centenary Circle.  There were 3 walks, 10/11 miles on Friday and Saturday to cover the whole route, a half day walk of 6 miles along the route on Saturday and a challenging walk of the whole 21 mile circle in one day which was completed by six of our members.  All walks ended at Galleywood Heritage Centre where walkers and non-walking members celebrated our 40th Anniversary with tea, cakes and Prosecco.

On Day 4 the walkers completed the final section from Stoke-by-Nayland to Manningtree in Essex.  

Over 4 days more than 50 walkers from our group completed 42 miles of the St Edmund Way.  Days 1, 2 and 3 covered the section from Brandon to Bury St Edmunds.

The trip to the Chilterns had  long walk along part of the Ridgeway to Ivinghoe Beacon and the Ashridge Estate, and a shorter walk based around Marsworth and the Grand Union Canal. 

Our May Coach Trip with a long walk to Leith Hill and Dorking and shorter walk on Ranmoor Common combined with a visit to Polesden Lacey.

Day 3  Walk 1, Cleeve Hill to Crickley Hill.  Walk 2, Winchcombe to Cleeve Hill.  Walk3, Winchcombe and Sudely Castle.

Day 4  Walk 1, Crickley Hill to Painswick.  Walk 2, Leckhampton Hill to Birdlip.  Walk 3, Painswick Circular and Rococo Garden.
